Orit Shimoni doesn’t like to stop moving. But after eleven years as a full time, on-the-road troubadour, the pandemic stopped her in her tracks: Her, and the rest of the world with it! Her whole way of life disappeared over night, and she got stranded with no home, no car, and no path.
She did the two things she knows how to do best. Write songs, and make friends wherever she is. After almost five years now, Orit returns to Europe at last, to perform songs from the three albums she released since the pandemic: “Strange and Beautiful Things,” “Lorem Ipsem,” and “Winnipeg.”
With the same soulfulness as always, the same gift for storytelling and a way of touching what is human in all of us, Orit deals with new situations and old themes If we have learned anything at all, it is that nothing can be certain, and that music and art see us through and lift us up.

Jeden Donnerstag ein Konzert mit einem Singer/Songwriter oder einer kleinen Band.
Wer aufmerksam durch Berlin stolpert, hat es mitbekommen, die Stadt ist ein Magnet für junge, verrückte, talentierte und interessante Musiker. Mit etwas Glück sieht man auf der Warschauer Brücke oder in einem Kneipenhinterzimmer an einem Abend mehr Talent als das ganze Jahr im Fernsehen.
Wir wollen diesen Musikern eine Bühne geben.
