Marta Collica
Die sizilianische Singer-Songwriterin, Sängerin und Multi-Instrumentalistin Marta Collica ist ein Hauptmitglied der Band des britischen Komponisten und Produzenten John Parish (Pj Harvey, Eels, Aldous Harding etc.) und anderer internationaler Musikkollektive wie Songs with Other Strangers (u.a. mit dem Belgier Stef Kamil Carlens von DEus, dem australischen Co-Autor Hugo Race und dem sizilianischen Songwriter Cesare Basile).
Marta Collica lebt in Berlin, wo sie ihre Musik schreibt und produziert. Ihre verträumte Stimme klingt gleichzeitig soft und doch kraftvoll, und sie spielt Gitarre, Keyboards und Perkussion mit einem originellen Stil, der Blues, Trip Hop und amerikanischen Lo-Fi zu crepuskularen
Klangtexturen verwebt – scheinbar empfindlich, aber auch irgendwie verzerrt – und durch ihre Kompositionen cineastische und subtil psychedelische Atmosphären evoziert.

where she writes and produces her music.
Her dreamy voice sounds simultaneously soft and yet intense, and she plays guitar, keyboards and percussion with an original style that weaves blues, trip hop and American lo-fi into crepuscular sound textures – seemingly delicate but also distorted – evoking cinematic and subtly psychedelic atmospheres through her compositions.

Wer aufmerksam durch Berlin stolpert, hat es mitbekommen, die Stadt ist ein Magnet für junge, verrückte, talentierte und interessante Musiker. Mit etwas Glück sieht man auf der Warschauer Brücke oder in einem Kneipenhinterzimmer an einem Abend mehr Talent als das ganze Jahr im Fernsehen.
Wir wollen diesen Musikern eine Bühne geben.

It’s Berlin nowadays: The City has become a magnet to musicians from all over the world or from just around the corner. Creatvity and talent is on the street playing for small change, on the stages of open mics or maybe in the bar in your street.
