DESCRIPTION:ThursdaySounds like Leo JK / Addy Nemana / Cairn Mc Bain\nLeo JK takes you on a road to the misty and dreamy. After composing music for the theatre project ‘unser täglich halwa’ he published his debut EP ‚Songs of Longing‘ in 2021. His love for melodies\, as well as his shifting between the daydreaming\, melancholic and playful have evoked comparisons to the likes of John Martyn or Nick Cave. At Theater im Kino he will be joined by the trumpeter Nils Haack. Nils studies jazz trumpet in Dresden. A regular of the Berlin open mic scene\, his repertoire consists of jangly chords and swinging rhythms accompanied by vivid stream-of-consciousness storytelling\, which often finds itself hopping between the realms of the abstract and the concrete. \nCairn McBain is a Scottish-German guitarist & singer based in Berlin.\nHe has performed countless concerts all around Europe and beyond to form an amalgam of Mississippi-Delta-Blues and Scottish-Folk Music Traditions. He writes about his experiences in love\, travel and adventure and delivers his stories and snippets with refreshing guitar playing\, a gustful voice and a charismatic appearance. \n\nWird ein schöner Abend im Tik !!!\n\n \nTHURSDAY SOUNDS: – Singer/Songwriter Konzerte im Tik\, ab 21.00 Uhr\nJeden Donnerstag ein Konzert mit einem Singer/Songwriter oder einer kleinen Band.\nWer aufmerksam durch Berlin stolpert\, hat es mitbekommen\, die Stadt ist ein Magnet für junge\, verrückte\, talentierte und interessante Musiker. Mit etwas Glück sieht man auf der Warschauer Brücke oder in einem Kneipenhinterzimmer an einem Abend mehr Talent als das ganze Jahr im Fernsehen.\nWir wollen diesen Musikern eine Bühne geben.\n \nTHURSDAY SOUNDS:\nEvery Thursday we have a concert with a Singer/Songwriter or a small band.\nIt’s Berlin nowadays: The City has become a magnet to musicians from all over the world or from just around the corner.
