In their music you can find traces\, that show components of their artistic achievements in different styles and genres. Spontaneously created webs\, woven by rhythmic structures are intertwined with experimental noises and sounds\, that are based on extended techniques specific of their instruments. The electric guitar\, zither\, clarinet and saxophone are prepared with different elements\, such as water\, skins\, air and wind and electric devices from every day life. \n——- \nEdith Steyer is a free improvising and experimental clarinet and saxophone player with her roots in jazz and classical music of the 20th century. As a former student for social anthropology she is also interested in ethnic music. She is dedicated to the exploration of her instruments and works with different preparations and elements like drum skins\, water and wind and lately also with electronic devices and feedback. http://www.edith-steyer.de/ \nSilvia Ocougne is born in Sao Paulo\, Brazil. She studied composition with Willi Correa de Oliveira at Sao Paulo University and guitar with Manoel Sao Marcos\, Paulo Bellinatti and others. She gained her Masters Degree at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston\, USA. Since 1987 she has lived in Berlin where she works as a composer and performer of new\, experimental and Brazilian\nmusic. She has been the founder of “Imaginäre Musik”\, a platform that invited musicians like Michael Vorfeld\, Mazen Kerbaj and Werner Durand .
